Field Service Engineer North

Overview

Provide field service and technical support for Binding Site products across North Italy, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and customer training.

What you'll do

• Install, integrate, validate, upgrade, troubleshoot, and repair systems and associated software.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers and colleagues.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance within required timeframes.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate spare-parts records.
• Conduct preliminary laboratory visits to assess installation requirements.
• Support LIS interfacing and middleware products using networking and client/server knowledge.
• Provide installation and maintenance training to end users.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a scientific or engineering field.
• IT skills for laboratory middleware management.
• Strong technical competence and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Italian.
• Full driving license.
• Availability for short-notice travel and occasional weekends or unsociable hours.

Details

• Remote role in Italy, supporting North Italy.
• Work includes clinical and hospital laboratories.
• Field work accounts for 75–85% of working time.
• Periodic technical training may be required at the UK head office.
