Full Stack (Angular-Java) - Director - Software Engineering

Overview

Full Stack (Angular-Java) Director role on the FORT (Risk Technology) team, supporting the FS analytics platform.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and test end-to-end, multi-tier web applications.
• Build and integrate modern user interfaces, REST APIs, and data models.
• Develop and work with microservices and scalable application architecture.
• Design APIs for data exchange using formats like JSON, flat files, Parquet, Avro, and ORC.
• Create metadata/configuration-driven solutions and work with relational databases.
• Provide rotational post-production support and manage multiple priorities.

What you'll need

• At least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong Java development experience for multi-tier applications.
• Front-end skills using Angular, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Strong DBMS expertise including schema design and SQL query authoring.
• Knowledge of software development and system implementation life cycles.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and Excel.
