Fund Accounting Analyst 1

Overview

Fund Accounting Analyst 1 responsible for financial reporting activities for mutual funds, including preparation and filing of financial statements and annual reports under US GAAP.

What you'll do

• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Handle internal and external audit requests and serve as a point of contact for identified clients.
• Coordinate with onshore teams to provide relevant information for audits.
• Monitor production schedules to complete work accurately and by client deadlines.
• Prepare and technically review annual and semi-annual financial statements and audit work papers.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy checks for disclosures in financial statements.

What you'll need

• 3-4 years of relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and preparation of financial statements based on US GAAP (preferable)/IFRS.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for discussions with internal and external parties.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management and ability to handle pressure situations.
• Proficiency in MS Office/Excel; advanced Microsoft Word knowledge is required.
