HBU Application Engineering Manager

Overview

HBU Application Engineering Manager to lead application engineers for high voltage products and systems, covering technical solutioning, design, and quotation aligned to customer requirements.

What you'll do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of application engineers for high technical excellence and collaboration.
• Review and interpret customer specifications, RFQs, and tender documents for high voltage products and systems.
• Develop technical proposals including system designs, single-line diagrams, layouts, and equipment selections with compliance to standards.
• Guide technical calculations, simulations, and analyses to validate proposed high voltage solutions.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, R&D, and project management to align technical solutions and execution.
• Serve as a primary technical point of contact for key customers and address technical queries.

What you'll need

• Minimum 10 years of experience in application engineering, design, or project engineering within the high voltage power industry.
• 3-5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role leading a team of engineers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of high voltage products including GIS, AIS, circuit breakers, instrument transformers, and surge arresters.
• Strong understanding of electrical standards including IEC, IS, and ANSI.
• Proficiency in engineering software tools for electrical design, analysis, and simulation.
