HIH - Software Engineering Manager

Overview

Software Engineering Manager (Backend/API) leading development and integration of backend applications, with support for AI capabilities.

What you'll do

• Manage a team of developers building and maintaining backend applications in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Implement advanced programming concepts including asynchronous programming and decorators.
• Support system integration across cloud and on-prem platforms between databases and APIs.
• Assist with transaction management, failure handling, validation, and retries to improve robustness.
• Assist in managing cloud-based services, with preference for AWS experience.

What you'll need

• 13 to 16 years of experience in backend software development.
• Development experience using AI and Java Fullstack.
• Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience building RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Relational database experience using MySQL or Postgres.
• NoSQL database experience using DynamoDB, MongoDB, or Cassandra.

Details

• Location: Hyderabad, India.
• Work arrangement: primarily based in Hyderabad with flexibility to work remotely as required.
• Employment: full-time; 40 hours per week; expected overlap with US hours as appropriate.
