Overview

Part-time instructor role teaching live online Structural Engineering (SE) exam prep courses for the Civil SE licensing exam.

What you'll do

• Demonstrate strong teaching skills and engage students while mentoring them for student success.
• Act as an industry and exam subject matter expert for areas of study.
• Host classes according to the established schedule and curriculum.
• Prepare adequately for course sessions to ensure technical accuracy.
• Submit errors, revisions, or improvements to course slides/materials at least weekly.
• Ensure live webinar technical requirements are met, including early login, recording controls, and a quiet environment.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Licensed SE through NCEES (Civil PE not eligible).
• Ability to effectively use online classroom technology.
• Knowledge of licensing exam content and preparation.
• Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.
• Dynamic speaking ability.
• Attention to detail and urgency.
