Lead Engineer - System Engineering

Overview

Lead Engineer for Systems Engineering, focusing on model-based systems engineering (MBSE) for complex electrical systems used in data centers.

What you'll do

• Lead systems engineering and MBSE activities for data center power and infrastructure architectures.
• Develop and manage requirements and functional, logical, and physical architectures.
• Define system interfaces, behaviors, operating modes, and V&V strategies.
• Develop CONOPS and operational scenarios while maintaining end-to-end requirements traceability.
• Conduct architecture assessments and multi-attribute trade-off studies.
• Perform electrical system analyses including power flow, fault/short-circuit, protection coordination, and power quality.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering, electrical power systems, or data center infrastructure engineering.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle and MBSE practices.
• Experience with requirements management, architecture development, interface management, and V&V planning.
• Hands-on experience with utility interconnection and MV/LV distribution systems.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and ETAP (plus tools such as SKM/PSCAD).
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 15288 and relevant IEEE/IEC/UL/data center standards.
