Network Engineer III - IN (Palo Alto & FortiGate)

Overview

Network Engineer III responsible for escalation, troubleshooting, and designing secure network security architectures across Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Azure/hybrid environments.

What you'll do

• Act as the highest-level technical escalation for complex network security and cloud security incidents.
• Provide expert support and troubleshooting for Palo Alto, Fortinet, Azure networking, and hybrid security infrastructures.
• Lead technical resolution of critical (P1/P2) incidents and major service outages, including recovery activities and stakeholder updates.
• Perform deep-dive root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Design, implement, and optimize secure network security architectures across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployments.
• Review and approve firewall policies, network segmentation, VPN designs, security controls, and architecture changes.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Network Security Engineering, Security Operations, or Security Architecture.
• Expert knowledge of Palo Alto Networks VM-Series, Panorama, FortiGate VM, and FortiManager.
• Advanced expertise in Azure networking and security services.
• Deep understanding of Virtual Networks (VNets), vWAN, route tables, and NSGs.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise network security architectures and hybrid connectivity solutions.
• Expert troubleshooting experience in IPsec VPN, SSL VPN, dynamic routing, NAT, and URL & APP-ID optimizations.
• Experience leading firewall migrations, cloud transformation, network modernization, and security platform upgrades/refresh programs.
