Networking Service Delivery Field Support Engineer (L2)

Overview

Networking Service Delivery Field Support Engineer (L2) is a developing engineering role providing second-line onsite technical support and field engineering services to clients. The focus is on proactively identifying and resolving incidents and problems to maintain zero missed SLA conditions.

What you'll do

• Ensure client-site infrastructure is configured, installed, tested, and operational.
• Install and configure solution software according to client requirements.
• Proactively identify problems/errors and log incidents with required detail.
• Liaise with stakeholders to expedite diagnosis, escalation, and resolution.
• Investigate assigned support calls, identify root causes using knowledge articles, and escalate to L3 when needed.
• Update incidents with progress and resolution details in the required platform.
• Provide second-line remote and onsite technical support and field engineering services.

What you'll need

• Moderate experience in networking technologies including routing, switching, and wireless.
• Moderate experience providing technical support to clients.
• Moderate experience in diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Moderate experience providing remote support in networking technologies.
• Moderate experience in relevant technology.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing, or relevant networking certifications (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNP, JNCIP, ACMP).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
