Operations Expert, NCT

Overview

Operations Expert for NCT supporting legal invoice processing and invoice review to reduce potential overcharges, while coordinating with internal stakeholders and law firms to ensure timely payments.

What you'll do

• Set up new vendors, matters, timekeepers, and users in the ELM tool based on requests from law firms and users.
• Maintain the ELM database for updates to vendors, matters, and timekeepers.
• Enter hard-copy invoices into ELM by capturing invoice details from physical copies.
• Review and interrogate invoices using set rules to identify potential overcharges.
• Prepare reports on pending invoices, including breakdowns by approver and by matter/vendor/cost center.
• Resolve invoice issues after approval in ELM (cost center, GL, internal order number, and matter identification errors).

What you'll need

• Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Preferably 1 year of work experience in Finance/Administration/Operations Management.
• Proactive problem-solving with ownership and self-management.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to improve processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
