Overview

QA Automation Manager in PwC’s Acceleration Center India, helping improve client operational efficiency through test automation, strategy, and support.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks (UI, API, and/or backend).
• Define test strategy across functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Use Gen AI and prompt engineering for test case generation, test data creation, and coverage analysis.
• Analyze test results and quality metrics, and report release readiness to product owners/delivery leads.
• Embed quality in the delivery cycle by collaborating with developers, architects, and product owners.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and drive test data and environment strategy.
• Lead performance/load testing (e.g., JMeter or k6) and perform root-cause analysis.

What you'll need

• At least 9 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer & Information Science, Finance, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems.
• Oral and written proficiency in English required.
• Strong hands-on experience in test automation with framework design ownership.
• Programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript for scalable automation code.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline).
• Hands-on API testing using Postman, including REST endpoint validation and authentication flows.
