Overview
Salesforce Technical Lead role focused on hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2B) and Salesforce Experience Cloud customer experiences. Own technical direction, solution design, development, integrations, performance optimization, and delivery.
What you'll do
- Lead technical design, development, and delivery of scalable Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2B ecommerce solutions and Experience Cloud customer portals.
- Build and customize Experience Cloud websites, storefronts, portals, and self-service experiences using Experience Builder and reusable components.
- Own solution architecture for B2B commerce capabilities including catalogs, pricing, buyer groups, entitlements, cart, checkout, and account/order workflows.
- Develop commerce and Experience Cloud experiences using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Web Runtime (LWR), Flow, SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SLDS, and Experience Builder.
- Integrate Commerce Cloud with ERP, payments, tax, search, shipping, inventory, and order management systems using REST/SOAP APIs and event-driven patterns.
- Provide technical leadership via design reviews, code reviews, estimation, troubleshooting, coaching, and delivery planning, including onshore/offshore teams.
- Create and maintain technical documentation (solution designs, integration specs, data models, deployment notes, and support guides).
What you'll need
- 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including leading technical delivery for enterprise Salesforce implementations.
- Hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience for B2B ecommerce, including storefront configuration and B2B commerce workflows.
- Proven experience building custom websites/portals/self-service experiences using Salesforce Experience Cloud (Experience Builder, themes, templates, branding, navigation, reusable components).
- Advanced proficiency with Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL/SOSL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SLDS, and governor-limit awareness.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems such as ERP/PIM/OMS/tax/payment/shipping/inventory/search and middleware using REST/SOAP APIs and platform events.
- Proficiency with version control and CI/CD tools like GitHub, Azure Repos, Salesforce DX, or Azure Pipelines.
- Agile/Scrum experience using tools such as Azure Boards or Jira.
