Security Engineer, SLED

Overview

Security Engineer, SLED works with sales to identify prospects, present security solutions, and support technical evaluation for customers and partners.

What you'll do

• Work with the sales team to identify prospects.
• Demonstrate a security solutions portfolio to help protect organizations from threats.
• Educate customers, prospects, and partners on technical, operational, and business challenges and how solutions address them.
• Drive meetings to identify customer problems and provide appropriate solutions.
• Answer technical questions, share best-practice insight, and manage proof-of-concepts.
• Respond to RFIs and RFPs.
• Engage and educate key partners and customers on latest security technologies and participate in cybersecurity events.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of engineering and pre-sales experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of typical customers’ networks.
• Ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer’s environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CCNP, CISSP, CCSA, CCSE).
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future.
