Security Sales Engineer

Overview

Security Sales Engineer role partnering with sales to qualify prospects, present security solutions, and support deals through technical discovery and proof-of-concept work.

What you'll do

• Work closely with the sales team to identify prospects.
• Demonstrate the company’s security solution portfolio to prospects and customers.
• Educate customers, prospects, and partners on technical and operational challenges and solution fit.
• Drive meetings to identify customer problems and propose appropriate solutions.
• Answer technical questions, share best-practice insights, and manage proof-of-concepts.
• Respond to RFIs and RFPs.

What you'll need

• 4–8 years of engineering and pre-sales experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of typical customer networks.
• Ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Relevant certifications preferred: CCNP, CISSP, CCSA, or CCSE.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
