Security Solution Architect

Overview

Lead technical solution architecture for enterprise security deals, focusing on ransomware recovery, immutable and air-gapped vaulting, identity resilience, and data security posture management. This is a pre-sales, consultative role involving architecture, demonstrations, proof-of-concept work, and executive-level technical communication.

What you'll do

• Own technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and proofs of value for security deals.
• Advise CISOs, security leaders, and architects on security architectures.
• Design reference architectures and lead workshops, POCs, and pilots.
• Develop solution briefs, architecture diagrams, and account-specific business cases.
• Collaborate with security partners on joint solutions and technical co-selling.
• Provide field feedback for product roadmap development.
• Maintain technical qualification and POC exit criteria.

What you'll need

• 7+ years in solutions architecture, sales or pre-sales engineering, or technical consulting.
• Experience supporting enterprise sales in a specialist or overlay capacity.
• Experience designing or deploying ransomware-recovery, immutable or air-gapped backup, or identity-resilience systems.
• Infrastructure experience across backup, recovery, storage, or hybrid cloud.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, and core security concepts.
• Python or PowerShell scripting and API proficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Specialist or overlay SE/SA experience at a data infrastructure, backup, or cybersecurity vendor.
• Technical relationships or competitive experience in backup, cyber resilience, or data security.
• French, German, Mandarin, or Bahasa language capability matched to the territory.

• Location: United Kingdom.
• Work mode: Remote.
• Regular travel is required for customer meetings, workshops, and POCs.
• Periodic travel to the Santa Clara headquarters and company events is required.
