Senior Data Analyst

Overview

Senior Data Analyst for Structured Finance in the Global Structured Finance Quality Assurance team, supporting compliance with Morningstar DBRS policies and procedures.

What you'll do

• Streamline existing processes and implement new processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Liaise with analytical staff to ensure identified issues are remediated timely and effectively.
• Review and gather rating documents for regulatory exams.
• Collaborate with Compliance and Information Technology teams on needed projects.
• Develop and maintain periodic training status reports and management reports related to rating process, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in reviewing rating files to support compliance with rating methodologies, policies, and procedures.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in finance or a related area.
• 1-2 years of experience in compliance, audit and/or regulatory analysis in financial services or accounting.
• Understanding and/or professional experience with a credit rating agency is a plus.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills to extract trends from large data sets and use sound judgment.
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced knowledge in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
