Senior Engineer - EDA ML Tools - Customer Engineering(Physical Design)

Overview

Senior Engineer role in EDA ML tools and Physical Design customer engineering, bridging Physical Design/CAD teams with software/system engineering to support and triage end-to-end workflows.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end user support and triage workflows for EDA environments.
• Debug complex EDA environment, configuration, and software integration issues.
• Diagnose workflow failures across toolchains, configurations, and infrastructure.
• Test and validate reproducible debugging scenarios and real-world test cases.
• Debug AI/GenAI agent workflows, including orchestration failures and non-deterministic behavior.
• Integrate tools into automated validation/regression pipelines and reporting.

What you'll need

• 2 to 6 years in Applications Engineering / Customer Engineering, preferably in Physical Design (PNR/Floor planning).
• Strong domain knowledge in VLSI/Physical Design/EDA workflows.
• Knowledge of Agentic AI / MCP / RAG workflows.
• Proven triaging and debugging expertise for complex software/tool issues.
• Strong Python/Linux/scripting experience.
• Ability to independently run and debug end-to-end workflows.
