Senior Engineer - Power Electronics

Overview

Senior Engineer focused on designing, simulating, developing, and validating high-power power electronics systems, including converters and inverters.

What you'll do

• Design, simulate, develop, and validate high-power power electronic systems (DC-DC, AC-DC, and inverters).
• Create converter and inverter topologies for various applications.
• Select and evaluate power semiconductor devices, gate drivers, modulation techniques, and output filters.
• Design high-frequency magnetic components such as transformers and inductors.
• Run circuit simulations and perform steady-state and transient analysis.
• Execute hardware development lifecycle from requirements through qualification and certification.
• Integrate power electronic subsystems into larger electrical/electronic systems and support compliance activities.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Power Electronics or related field.
• 7-10 years of experience (with the Bachelor's degree requirement).
• Proficiency with simulation tools including PSpice, LTSpice, MATLAB/Simulink, or PLECS.
• Ability to perform worst-case, tolerance, stress, derating, and FMEA analyses.
• Experience with inverter and converter design and understanding of AC-DC, DC-DC, and inverter topologies.
• Knowledge of Si, SiC, and GaN power devices.
• Familiarity with standards including IEC, IEEE, CISPR, ISO, SAE, EMC, and EMI.
