Senior Engineer - System Solution Engineer

Overview

Senior Engineer (Solution Engineer) for MCO equipment within the MCO engineering team at Thales in Bangalore. You will lead engineering activities to demonstrate compliance and equipment functionalities during design changes across certification, serial production, and support phases.

What you'll do

• Establish change impact analysis for electronics design changes.
• Perform simulation, analysis, and verification activities for demonstrating compliance.
• Build and propose validation plans for customer approval and release readiness.
• Prepare and review customer certification documentation related to design changes.
• Conduct complementary testing and IVV at equipment level.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and specialists when electronics boards or FPGA are modified.

What you'll need

• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in aeronautic equipment engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of electronics design and development (analog and digital).
• Ability to analyze electronics circuits and select alternate electronics components.
• Comfort reading schematics, bills of materials, and layout files.
• High awareness of airworthiness and aeronautic safety requirements and standards.
• Experience troubleshooting electronics and embedded hardware systems to find and fix root causes.
• Familiarity with Qualification Test procedures/reports and qualification documentation for airborne authorities.
