Overview
Senior Manager responsible for accurate and compliant international payroll execution across multiple global jurisdictions. Leads payroll teams for multiple regions and partners across finance, HR, legal compliance, and external vendors.
What you'll do
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll cycle for thousands of employees across EMEA and APAC regions.
- Manage global managed service provider relationships and conduct periodic RFPs.
- Partner with IT to ensure seamless data flow between HRIS (Workday), Etrade, third-party vendors, and the payroll vendor.
- Ensure payroll accuracy and timeliness, including off-cycle payroll review and timely check processing.
- Develop internal controls to ensure quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance of payroll functions.
- Coordinate funding and currency conversions with the finance team to avoid payment delays.
- Lead internal and external audits to keep payroll records audit-ready.
What you'll need
- 12–15+ years of payroll experience, including at least 5 years in a multinational environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or HR.
- Workday HCM knowledge is required.
- Hands-on experience with Payroll, Time and Attendance, HRIS, and Payroll Service Providers preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication, including education and change management.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills to manage concurrent projects.
- Demonstrated analytical/decision-making abilities and ability to design and improve operational processes.
