Senior Sales Engineer - Milan

Overview

Senior Sales Engineer providing pre-sales technical support for Mimecast sales teams, reseller partners, and customers for endpoint and email security offerings.

What you'll do

• Provide technical pre-sales support across customer and reseller partner opportunities.
• Engage technical stakeholders to position services and address technical objections.
• Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to senior customer contacts.
• Prepare formal RFP responses and high-level implementation plans.
• Partner with sales and support complex solutions with Service Delivery during pre-sales proofs of concept.
• Train sales teams on Mimecast products and participate in marketing events as needed.

What you'll need

• Extensive experience selling endpoint software into enterprise opportunities.
• Strong familiarity with networking and security technologies and services.
• Understanding of spam, viruses, email security, and internet-based threats.
• Ability to explain technical solutions clearly to business-focused customers.
• Experience supporting customers in a pre-sales environment and consultatively selling complex services.
• Understanding of email system migration processes and Exchange migrations/upgrades.
