Senior Software Engineer New Markets

Overview

Senior Software Engineer (New Markets) responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining systems and services, including incident leadership for regional business hours.

What you'll do

• Design a highly scalable, mission-critical brokerage system.
• Develop and enhance middle- and back-office systems (gRPC microservices, React-based UI, vendor integrations).
• Collaborate with core teams to transform the framework for multiple languages, currencies, and markets.
• Troubleshoot incidents and reported bugs to maintain integrity and performance.
• Act as operational reliability/engineering lead and incident commander during regional business hours.
• Support regional recruitment initiatives, cross-functional projects, and mentoring.

What you'll need

• Experience as an experienced full-stack engineer delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and proactive mindset.
• Proficiency in Go or similar backend languages and robust system architecture experience.
• Ability to lead and troubleshoot incidents or bugs as incident commander.
• Strong communication skills for global teams, regulators, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, globally distributed team under pressure.
• Event-driven design experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI tooling such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex or others.
• Startup/fast-growing company experience.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies.
• Experience with domain-driven design.
• Financial services experience related to online trading/brokerage/fintech.
• Experience with double-entry accounting and financial transaction processing.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements in financial markets.
