Overview
Signal & Power Integrity Engineer delivering signal integrity solutions for high-speed platforms, boards, and packages.
What you'll do
- Develop signal integrity rules and review their implementation.
- Document characterization and measurement reports.
- Improve and optimize design margins for interconnects.
- Run simulations and guide package and platform physical implementation.
- Design and characterize test structures to correlate simulations and measurements.
- Develop electrical specifications and interconnect specifications for next-generation interfaces.
- Collaborate with IP design and silicon integration teams to meet platform requirements and reduce quality degradation and cost.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 6+ years with a Master's degree, or 4 years with a PhD.
- Proficiency in signal integrity analysis, including simulations and validation techniques.
- Hands-on experience with 3D EM solvers and 3D modeling tools.
- Strong understanding of PCB and package design principles.
- Expertise in electrical validation and debug practices.
- Technical proficiency in noise/glitch and signal/power integrity analysis.
