Software Design Assurance Quality Engineer

Overview

Software Design Assurance Quality Engineer responsible for creating and managing software quality documentation, assessing software designs, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

What you'll do

• Facilitate development, maintenance, and management of software quality documentation including SRS.
• Lead assessment of software designs using test and performance data.
• Perform root cause analysis for software quality issues and resolve deficiencies.
• Validate design inputs covering usability, reliability, performance, localizability, safety, privacy, and cost.
• Oversee execution of software quality plans and associated risk management activities.
• Monitor post-market software performance using analytics and statistics and initiate corrective/field actions.
• Develop Software Quality Plans across the software lifecycle and ensure regulatory adherence.

What you'll need

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience with a Bachelor's/Master's degree.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of relevant global regulations, requirements, and standards.
• Preferred/mandatory: SDLC knowledge.
• Preferred/mandatory: Defect Management.
• Preferred/mandatory: Design for Quality (DFQ).
• Preferred: Design Quality Management; cloud experience is preferable.
