Software Engineer

Overview

Lead Software Engineer for the Financial Wellbeing Platform, building front and back end changes and contributing domain expertise within cross-disciplinary engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Design, build and implement front and back end changes focused on operational stability, robustness, resilience and quality.
• Collaborate with Architecture and Engineering principles on system design and implementation.
• Provide domain expert input into system development, integrations and architecture.
• Improve engineering quality through peer reviews and share knowledge within the Engineering Community.
• Work across functions to meet shared objectives and promote a collaborative culture.

What you'll need

• 4–8 years of experience.
• Experience with one or more front-end technologies, including configuring and customizing the Debt Manager application for Retail customers.
• ETL development experience using Pentaho Data Integration for designing, testing and deploying data transformation workflows.
• SQL Server experience including SQL statements, stored procedures, dynamic SQL, functions and scripts.
• Strong database optimization, indexing and performance tuning knowledge.
• Adoption of version control and source code management, plus experience with Agile methodologies.
