Sr Advanced Analytics Analyst

Overview

Sr Advanced Analytics Analyst for Medtronic’s HR Analytics team, connecting HR stakeholders with data teams to deliver trusted workforce analytics and reporting solutions.

What you'll do

• Partner with HR stakeholders to define workforce metrics and analytics/reporting requirements.
• Translate business questions into functional and technical specifications.
• Define HR data integration requirements into enterprise data warehouse environments.
• Collaborate with data engineering and data architecture teams to design scalable reporting datasets.
• Perform end-to-end testing, validation, and troubleshooting of HR data pipelines and reports.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for HR data definitions, business rules, lineage, and refresh schedules.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.

What you'll need

• Full-time bachelor’s degree in analytics, information systems, data science, business, HR analytics, or related discipline.
• Overall 8-12 years of work experience, with at least 4+ years in data analytics/reporting/BI/data product roles.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience in enterprise data warehouse environments.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into scalable analytics and reporting solutions.
• Experience with HR systems and data, including Workday or similar HCM platforms.
• Experience performing data validation, testing, and data quality analysis.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
