Sr Associate 2, Other Tax Services - Partner Group

Overview

Support high-net-worth clients and domestic partners with individual and multi-state tax compliance, planning, research, and documentation.

What you'll do

• Prepare and review Form 1040 and multi-state tax returns.
• Handle state pass-through entity tax credits and other state-specific credits and deductions.
• Answer client questions and collect information for tax services.
• Reconcile client documentation and identify inconsistencies.
• Complete tax planning and research on relevant legislation.
• Prepare memoranda and written documentation on complex tax issues.
• Bring tax preparation work to completion for review.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years of public accounting experience focused on high-net-worth taxation.
• Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Knowledge of SurePrep, TaxCaddy, and CCH Access.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Research skills using Checkpoint, BNA, and Bloomberg.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Master's degree.
