STA Engineer

Overview

Work as an STA Engineer supporting ASIC IP and SoC development, with a focus on static timing analysis, timing convergence, and physical implementation.

What you'll do

• Perform static timing analysis for ASIC designs.
• Develop timing constraints and support physical implementation.
• Resolve critical timing bottleneck paths.
• Prepare complex ECOs for timing convergence across multiple corners.
• Optimize power and push power, performance, and area (PPA).
• Support high-performance and low-power implementation methods.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of experience in static timing analysis.
• Experience with constraints and physical implementation aspects.
• Understanding of PT, Tempus, GENUS, Innovus, or ICC tools.
• Experience preparing complex timing-convergence ECOs.
• Strong fundamentals in STA and timing fixing.
• Expertise in Perl and TCL.
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with deep submicron process technology nodes.
• Knowledge of high-performance and low-power implementation methods.
