Strategic Account Executive - MSP

Overview

Strategic Account Executive to develop and grow sales relationships with MSP partners, driving net-new logo acquisition and account expansion in Germany (remote).

What you'll do

• Own a defined list of MSPs and deliver against an annual quota.
• Build, manage, and execute a robust pipeline from prospecting through close.
• Engage C-level/VP-level decision makers and run structured, value-based sales cycles.
• Develop business cases connecting Cohesity’s AI-powered data security platform to customer outcomes.
• Partner with sales engineers and channel partners to execute coordinated account strategies.
• Maintain forecasting, territory plans, and pipeline hygiene in Salesforce.
• Use AI/productivity tools to streamline workflows and support data-driven decisions.

What you'll need

• Experience selling into Information Security/Cybersecurity teams.
• Success in a quota-carrying, customer-facing sales role for complex technology solutions.
• Experience selling with multiple stakeholders and complex sales cycles, especially with MSPs.
• Knowledge of data security architectures, ransomware resilience, and the competitive landscape.
• Strong track record negotiating and closing high-value contracts.
• Executive-level communication and presentation skills.
• Professional English proficiency for customer and internal communication.
