Support Engineer, SAP ABAP/BTP - Evergreen

Overview

Remote Support Engineer role for SAP ABAP/BTP, supporting mission-critical SAP applications for global customers.

What you'll do

• Research, troubleshoot, and support multiple SAP modules across 4.x and ECC environments.
• Diagnose issues and develop, test, package, and deliver fixes in complex SAP setups.
• Write ABAP code based on client blueprints and run regular usability tests.
• Provide end-user technical support via troubleshooting guidelines and system modifications.
• Design and operate SAP BTP services (Cloud Foundry/Kyma), including setup of Destinations, Cloud Connector, and XSUAA.
• Build event-driven integrations using SAP Event Mesh and develop/expose BTP APIs (OData/REST) with API Management policies.

What you'll need

• 5+ years ABAP and Fiori programming experience.
• 5+ years SAP BTP (administration and integration) experience.
• 3+ years knowledge of SAP systems such as FI/CO, MM, and SD.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry, Destinations, Connectivity, CI/CD pipelines).
• Experience designing/exposing OData/REST APIs and API Management on BTP.
• Experience with SAP CAP (Node/Java) and ABAP RAP programming models.
• Advanced performance analysis and optimization using SAP tools (SQLM, ST05, SAT, ATC).
