Team Lead, Software Sourcing

Overview

Lead global software sourcing across enterprise software, SaaS, public cloud infrastructure, and AI services. Manage a team while developing sourcing strategies, negotiating complex technology agreements, and advising senior stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Manage, coach, and develop Analysts and Senior Analysts.
• Allocate work across global software sourcing pipelines.
• Lead sourcing strategies for enterprise license and public cloud agreements.
• Run competitive RFx processes, negotiations, spend analytics, and supplier rationalization.
• Partner with legal, privacy, and security teams on technology contract terms.
• Manage the global deal pipeline and report risks and progress to executives.
• Identify software cost-reduction and sourcing transformation opportunities.

What you'll need

• 9–10 years of progressive IT sourcing experience.
• Experience with enterprise software, public cloud, and SaaS/PaaS/IaaS commercial structures.
• 2–3 years of direct people-management experience.
• Deep knowledge of software licensing architectures and cloud pricing mechanisms.
• Experience negotiating multi-million-dollar agreements with major technology vendors.
• Experience negotiating privacy, liability, indemnification, audit, and data-transfer terms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, Business, or Finance.

Nice to have

• MBA.
• CPSM, CIPS, PMP, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or Azure Cloud Practitioner certification.
