Technical Lead - PCB Desing Engineer

Overview

Technical Lead - PCB Design Engineer responsible for leading complex PCB layout/design work, ensuring compliance with technical and manufacturing standards, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

• Lead complex PCB layout and design to meet technical and manufacturing standards.
• Develop and release PCB/PCBA and component technical documentation via design reviews and qualification testing.
• Support PCB/PCBA products through initial manufacturing builds and mass production.
• Apply CAD, CAM, and CAE tools for PCB/PCBA design and drawings.
• Conduct engineering and peer reviews and record findings for corrective actions.
• Generate PCB CAD layout design data and check layouts/drawings for completeness and conformity.

What you'll need

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8 to 12 years of experience in PCB layout/routing for mixed signal, high-speed digital, analog, low power, and high current designs.
• Experience with PCB types including Double-Sided, Multilayer, Flex, and Rigid-Flex PCBs.
• CAD tools experience: Allegro, OrCAD, Valor (DFM), and AutoCAD (2D).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD to generate fabrication and assembly drawings in accordance with IPC-ASME standards.
• Experience with Product Data Management tools such as Team Center (or similar).
• Understanding of IPC industry standards including IPC 2221, 2222, 600, 610, 6012, 6013, 7351, and 7352.
