Overview
Lead PCB Design Engineer responsible for end-to-end printed circuit board (PCB) design, development, and optimization for electronic products.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end PCB development from concept through production release.
- Lead programs involving multiple PCBs with support from one or more resources.
- Design complex multi-layer PCBs for data center power distribution, thermal management, and OCP rack-related systems.
- Develop PCB solutions covering signal integrity, power integrity, EMC/EMI compliance, thermal performance, and reliability/manufacturability.
- Define stack-ups, controlled impedance, high-current power routing, grounding strategies, and power distribution networks.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, thermal, firmware, manufacturing, and test teams.
- Drive standardization, library management, design automation, and continuous improvement.
What you'll need
- 12–14 years of PCB design experience in power electronics or thermal management products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electrical Engineering.
- Expert multi-layer PCB design experience using Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or equivalent EDA tools.
- Experience with High Power, Flex, Rigid Flex, and HDI PCBs.
- Strong experience with high-speed interfaces (DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, SerDes).
- Ability to perform SI/PI analysis and simulation.
- Knowledge of IPC standards including IPC-2221/2222, IPC-7351, IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, IPC-6012, IPC-2152.
