Variable Compensation Associate

Overview

Support the administration of worldwide variable compensation plans for sales, consulting, conference, and specialist teams. Handle commission inquiries, recurring processes, reporting, analysis, and payment validation.

What you'll do

• Maintain commission applications through data entry, validation, and quality checks.
• Resolve commission, quota, earnings, and compensation inquiries.
• Reconcile monthly commission payments with source-system data.
• Investigate anomalies, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
• Generate sales reports and analyses for leadership and business partners.
• Deliver training on commission calculations, adjustments, and payments.
• Coordinate with financial, sales, and operational departments.

What you'll need

• 1 year of relevant experience, professional development, relevant college coursework, or specialized certifications.
• Proficiency with Excel functions including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, filtering, and sorting.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with large data sets from multiple sources.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage high-volume inquiries in a fast-paced environment.
• Organization, time management, initiative, and adaptability.

Nice to have

• Understanding of SQL and basic query writing.
