Overview
Water Process Engineer role in Dallas, TX focused on evaluating and designing water treatment and distribution water quality solutions.
What you'll do
- Plan water quality evaluations to meet project objectives, including source, treatment, and distribution system water quality.
- Plan and conduct bench and pilot tests to evaluate water treatment.
- Perform engineering design calculations and desktop evaluations for water treatment processes and scenarios.
- Calculate chemical dosing and storage, size pumps, and select process monitoring equipment.
- Conduct engineering reviews and verify flood damage reports, designs, and benefit-cost analyses for flood mitigation projects.
- Provide permitting and compliance assistance through plant rerating, treatment modifications, upgrades, and performance demonstration.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Environmental Engineer, Civil Engineer, or related occupation.
- Professional Engineering (PE) licensure experience.
- Experience completing water, wastewater, and stormwater utility projects.
- Experience with water process planning, modeling, condition assessment, and design.
- Experience with regulatory experimental design and pilot testing system/experimental design.
- Experience with AutoCAD and GIS.

- Telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the US.
- Up to 25% domestic travel.
