Account Executive, Commercial Accounts (Public)

Overview

Account Executive (Commercial, Public) responsible for developing and closing business opportunities in the public sector within an assigned market, working closely with partner sales.

What you'll do

• Develop and successfully close business opportunities with defined public-sector customers.
• Work with partners to implement sales deals with their end customers.
• Actively pursue new customers, including cold calling, for sales activities in mid-market and enterprise customer segments.
• Identify and execute upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the existing customer base.
• Maintain forecasts and account/opportunity information in Salesforce.
• Propose, coordinate, and participate in marketing activities in the defined sales territory.

What you'll need

• Experience in direct sales and new customer acquisition.
• Prefer experience selling virtualization, cloud, and SaaS offerings.
• Prefer experience selling through partner channels as well as direct sales.
• Proven sales success focused on IT infrastructure specialists.
• Ability to develop new sales opportunities.
• Fluent German and English negotiation skills.
