Account Executive, Public Sector

Overview

Account Executive, Public Sector (Enterprise) responsible for developing and closing business with Motive’s largest State, Local, and Education prospects.

What you’ll do

• Establish, develop, and grow new business relationships within Public Sector accounts.
• Identify and develop account plans and strategies to provide best value to customers.
• Harness executive relationships to support RFP wins and grow contractual-based business.
• Execute complex Proof of Concepts or Trials experience.
• Partner internally to provide feedback on product or security gaps crucial in Public Sector.
• Plan to meet and exceed ongoing business goals and revenue quotas.
• Display the power of integrations and how the partner ecosystem increases value of Motive products.

What you’ll need

• Deep enterprise sales experience selling into the largest Public Sector organizations.
• Track record of exceeding quotas and rapidly growing a book over time (data-backed).
• Ability to build rapport with executive decision-makers and influence outcomes.
• Ability to work independently with a data-driven mindset to set short-, medium-, and long-term sales goals.
• Best-in-class communication skills to convey value propositions and manage objections.
