FP&A Analyst

Overview

FP&A Analyst supporting Corporate Overheads FP&A activities at Amex GBT, including reporting, budgeting, planning, and decision support.

What you'll do

• Drive financial performance management and support execution on financial plans.
• Own finance team reporting, budgeting, and financial planning for Corporate Overhead functions.
• Support development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and quarterly forecasts.
• Run the monthly results process, including booking required entries and preparing variance analysis.
• Prepare and present analysis and findings to business leaders and management.
• Track cost transformation benefits across the organization and support FP&A transformation work.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required.

What you'll need

• Accounting or Finance degree required.
• 6 to 9 years of experience.
• Strong financial and quantitative skills.
• At least 2 years of experience in FP&A or business partnering roles.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong process definition experience with an automation mentality.
• Knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
