Overview
Litmus Edge SME – Systems Integration Engineer (IT) to deploy and support the Litmus Edge platform across global manufacturing sites, with hands-on expertise connecting OT data to enterprise systems.
What you'll do
- Deploy and configure Litmus Edge at manufacturing sites to connect PLCs, SCADA, and historians to enterprise systems.
- Design Unified Namespace (UNS) structures aligned with ISA-95 for enterprise-ready plant-floor data.
- Integrate Litmus Edge northbound with ERP/MES platforms (SAP, Oracle, Baan) and cloud targets (Azure, AWS, Snowflake).
- Troubleshoot post-deployment integration issues, maintain configurations, and upskill local engineers.
- Produce integration documentation, SOPs, and configuration guides for other teams.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/management or equivalent.
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, IT/OT integration, or IIoT platform deployment in manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of industrial protocols such as OPC UA/DA, MQTT, Modbus, Profinet, or Ethernet/IP.
- Experience integrating OT systems (PLCs, SCADA, DCS, historians) with IT or cloud layers.
- Familiarity with ISA-95, Industry 4.0 architecture, and edge computing concepts.
- Comfort working at manufacturing sites and translating technical work into documentation.
Nice to have
- Direct experience with Litmus Edge, Ignition, Kepware, ThingWorx, AVEVA, or comparable IIoT/edge platforms.
- Scripting skills in Python, Node-RED, or SQL.
- Basic understanding of OT cybersecurity principles (ISA/IEC 62443).
- Exposure to cloud IoT services or time-series databases such as InfluxDB or OSIsoft PI.
