Major Account Manager, Public Sector - Germany

Overview

Major Account Manager for Germany’s public sector, responsible for growing Check Point’s presence with government-related accounts.

What you’ll do

• Grow relationships with German public sector organizations and government-related accounts.
• Identify, qualify, and acquire new public sector customers within Germany.
• Navigate government procurement processes, compliance requirements, and multi-stakeholder buying.
• Develop and execute multi-year strategic account plans for assigned public sector accounts.
• Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes including executive engagement and negotiations.
• Manage forecasting, pipeline accuracy, sales reporting, and account activity.
• Position the cyber security portfolio for cloud, network security, firewall, AI-driven security, and threat prevention.

What you’ll need

• 5+ years of quota-carrying sales or account management experience in IT, cyber security, or related technology.
• Experience in public sector or government customers (ideally exposure).
• Proven ability to build and grow relationships within government entities or public sector organizations.
• Experience navigating government procurement processes and compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of cyber security principles and connecting customer security challenges to solutions.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders, decision-makers, and technical audiences.
• Native German and fluent English are required.
