Senior Solutions Engineer

Overview

Senior Solutions Engineer role in Twilio’s Digital Sales segment, focused on technical pre-sales to deliver the “Technical Win” and best product fit for customers.

What you'll do

• Partner with Account Executives to execute pre-sales activities such as opportunity qualification and demonstrations.
• Lead technical discovery, propose technical architectures, and guide customers on using Twilio’s APIs.
• Build and present interactive, complex customer product demonstrations for Twilio Communications Products.
• Run low to mid-complexity opportunities independently and work across aspects of the deal cycle.
• Anticipate concerns and offer creative technical solutions to customer needs.
• Initiate identification and resolution of issues to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.

What you'll need

• 5+ years pre-sales experience selling complex, technical products, or 6+ years supporting technical products with customer-facing experience.
• Excellent communicator and presenter who can gain audience confidence.
• Ability to communicate complex topics to multiple levels of the audience.
• Previous software development experience or working knowledge in relevant areas.
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Details

• Location: Remote - US.
• Travel: approximately 10% anticipated.
• This role will be remote but is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA.
