Senior Workday Integration Analyst

Overview

Senior Workday Integration Analyst responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable Workday integrations and owning key integration domains.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, REST/SOAP APIs) for HR, Payroll, Finance, and downstream systems.
• Own Workday integration domains and ensure integrations are versioned and documented to meet enterprise architecture and data governance standards.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications, sequence diagrams, and test plans with HR/Payroll/Finance/IT and vendors.
• Lead the full integration lifecycle for Workday features, bi-annual updates, and project enhancements including unit testing, UAT support, cutover, and hypercare.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, incident response, and root cause analysis for production integration issues.
• Maintain and optimize data flows between Workday and other enterprise applications to ensure data quality, timeliness, and consistency.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting Workday integrations in production using EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and Workday Web Services/REST APIs.
• Experience owning end-to-end integration flows across at least two domains (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Security, or Financials).
• Ability to dig into payloads, mappings, and logs rather than treating integrations as black boxes.
• Comfort troubleshooting ambiguous/complex integration issues and methodically finding root causes.
• Detail-oriented around documentation, testing, monitoring, and change control.
• Ability to translate between business language and technical behavior.

Nice to have

• Workday Pro or Workday Integration/HCM/Financials certification(s) or equivalent advanced hands-on experience.
